A Beautiful Chapter that ended so fast...
Life is like a book.
It contains many chapters in it.
At times it is exciting, at times it is slow...
At times it is a short one, at times it is a long one....
At times it is sweet and at times it is bitter....
Here am I writing another chapter of my life that though it is short but it sure was sweet.
Tonight I am going to write about a friend I know not so long ago...
Maybe some time in the month of February.
I was working in Accenture KLCC office and at times I like to just take a stroll around the office to see what is going on. I remembered on the first week of February, came 2 new people that sat near my project room, where the marketing people was sitting.
A young gentleman and lady. To be of a good host, we took them out for lunch and introduced ourselves. The name of both these 2 were Kim Hoe and Fei Xing. It sure was funny when I first spoke to Fei Xing.
Boy.. her slang sure was REALLY american. =D
Well slowly I've got to know that she came back recently from the States after some time away. I decided to invite her to church because I know that she can find good friends in there. Because there was where I found mine. I call them my "second family" also known as my spiritual family.
So that weekend she agreed to come to church. I remembered looking for her place was sure frigthening because I didn't know Klang really well. When I find her place and waited for her, I remembered she was wearing a red top and jeans because that was the first time I saw her in non-office attire.
Since then I have been praying for her salvation and always made it an effort to share with her about God because one of my birthday wish every birthday is to see all my friends coming to know Jesus. After a few weeks of sharing with her, knowing her and seeing her come to church, Nelson and I decided to share with her the gospel. I prayed really hard and to my joy, she accepted Christ somewhere around Feb or March 2007.
It was really nice knowing her and she truly has been a great friend. Though it sure is hard to see her off to the States but I believe that God has great plans for her and as friends we are there to support each other. And I sure gonna miss someone bringing me around to try different Bak Kut Teh places.
Fei Xing,
I'm glad to know a great friend like you,
I pray that God will continue to use you in the States,
And touch many more lives for Jesus.
Thank you Nelson and Yvonne as well for taking good care of my friend as the youth ministry sure have many things that needs to be done. =)
This chapter will end tomorrow as she flies off to the States.
What lies in the next chapter, only God knows....
But I know it will always be of a good ending because He said that...
"All things work together for good to those who love Him" (Romans 8:28)
p/s: I pray that in the later chapters of our lives, our paths will meet again.
God bless =)
