Bamboos are Growing

I remembered during a sermon which uncle Eng Kiang shared during Father's Day.

About the story of the Fern and Bamboo...

Once a farmer spread the seed of the fern and alongside the bamboo.

The fern grew really fast but the bamboo didn't grow.

For many months, the people asked and questioned the farmer about the bamboo.

The fern was growing but the bamboo didn't grow at all.

Then after another few more months, the bamboo grew a small branch.

But after that the bamboo grew strong and mighty and even much higher than the fern.

Because during the time when the bamboo didn't grow much, it was expanding its roots.

This reminded me of Zhen Bon, Kok Fei and Nick....

There were times people asked me last time whether they can make it...

There were times I asked myself as well...

I trusted in God and in fact in the family camp in May.

God showed me a vision that these guys are going to grow to be great men of God in the future.

I trusted in God and I learned to trust in God.

Last week, many people started saying that these boys are beginning to sound and the way they minister was as though i was there.

I was so touched because that was the cry of my heart as well that 3 of them would be like Timothy to Paul (which is me).

When they minister, it would be as though i was there.

That is the fruits of discipleship =)
