Learning about Life....

These few days I have been learning SO MUCH about life, people around me like my brother, Eugene who are thinking about their weddings, having friends who are thinking about whether to stay back in overseas or to come back, going thrugh a transition from their previous jobs to their new jobs.... I learned so much as they share to me their struggles, their hopes and their joy.... It feels so nice and comfortable just spending time, hearing from them and talking with them.

Life has many stages, and life consists of a series of decisions we have made and going to make. Every decision is IMPORTANT. EVERY decision we make affects the paths we take in life. As I taught once in the youth camp game, that every decision we make have its consequences in the past, in the present and the future.

God loves us so much that He gave us the liberty to decide and God gives us the wisdom to know which is the right thing to do as well. Sometimes we wrestle against doing something that is right and doing something that we like. But doing what is right is always the way we should go because God's Word says that 7 times the righteous may fall, but 7 times he will rise up again. Therefore the righteous and doing what is right always prevails in the end.

I thank God even during last night when I was at the park just pondering about life, in a deep breath i took and pondered on my life. I realized I have grown so much and matured so much. No longer the young crazy teenager in school anymore but rather a man that holds firm to his principles and a man that trusts in God.

It was not the effort of my own alone. I would NEVER have done it without God, or the great and awesome friends I have around me and thanks to God's Words(The Bible), esp. in the Book of Proverbs that teaches so much about wisdom and maturity.

Yet I am still not going to stop growing here, there are still so much about...
